Exhibition: Education is an Act of Hope

  • The Hive The Butts Worcester, England, WR1 3PD United Kingdom (map)

One of our members, Elena Lengthorn, is collaborating on a community exhibition in her home city of Worcester. Members and supporter of The Miracle Inn are invited to submit their own contributions.

Taking place at The Hive from 25th November to December 10th, ‘Education is an Act of Hope’ will celebrate education as a hopeful act.

The centrepiece of the exhibition will feature wall hangings created through a series of education workshops with the 5th Worcester Sea Scouts, pupils at Bishop Perowne School EAL department, and attendees of the University of Worcester Institute of Education Research Conference.

The exhibition has been curated by local artist Caroline Ball and the works are nature themed and made with natural materials, everything from Sycamore seeds to Seaweed.

INVITATION: There is still time to contribute your own work of art, photography or poetry to the exhibition (submission deadline 9th Nov to Martin Driscoll martindriscoll@yahoo.com) reflecting on ‘education as an act of hope’.

To visit the exhibition, please check The Hive website to check for opening times between Nov 25th - Dec 10th.
